Make a Difference
WRAAA offers a number of opportunities for seniors, caregivers, and the general public who would like to give back to the community.
Volunteer
Whether your interest lies in helping the elderly or the youth in your area, we have several different options where our volunteers are making a difference every day.
Foster Grandparent Program
In this program, "grandparents" are matched with children in public and special schools, sheltered workshops, juvenile justice and head start programs. The volunteers benefit from a rewarding experience and a small stipend. The children receive valuable one-on-one attention from caring older adults.
Senior Centers
Volunteers are always needed to work at senior centers, deliver meals, make friendly visits with the homebound, make reassurance phone calls, and help with other tasks that assist area seniors.
