Foundation

The White River Aging Foundation, Inc. is a 501C 3 tax exempt, non-profit organization created by the White River Area Agency On Aging, Inc.

In creating the Foundation, the White River Area Agency on Aging, Inc. is anticipating the explosive growth of the older population as a result of the baby boom generation reaching 65 years of age and older.  Unfortunately, state and federal funding have not kept pace with inflation and the increasing older population.  This will put a greater demand on local funding sources as the need for services increases.

The Foundation was created to give the public and corporate community an avenue to help meet this demand.  To best do so, the Foundation intends to operate off the “interest only” portion of Foundation funds. Through your generosity, and that of others just like you, we hope to be able to provide all of the services.
