What
is Financial Planning?
Analyzing an individual’s
or family’s financial position, helping to determine financial goals such
as retirement planning and formulating a plan to achieve those goals.
A Financial Plan analyzes and develops goals for Budgeting and Savings,
Tax Planning, Insurance Review and Planning, Investments Planning and Management,
Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Estate Planning including Wills
and Trusts.
Who
Does This?
The White River Area
Agency on Aging, Inc. has two individuals who are qualified to do Financial
Planning. Ron Cantrell a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial
Planner (CFP) and Ed Haas, a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and
Certified Senior Advisor (CSA).
How
Is This Done?
Our Financial Planners
sit down with a client over several meetings helping the client to establish
financial goals such as goals for retirement, goals for education of their
children and their estate plan goals. After gathering all financial information
and analyzing that information, a Financial Plan is presented to the client.
Our Financial Planners assist the client with the implementation and monitoring
of the plan.
What
Does It Cost?
Generally about $400.00
to do a complete plan. However, many persons come to us wanting assistance
in just one or two areas. In these cases we have an hourly charge of $75
and offer a reduced fee schedule for lower income persons.
What
Else Should I Know?
Our Financial Planners
are registered as Investment Advisors and can manage your investments.
We are licensed with the state of Arkansas to sell Life, Health, Medicare
Supplement and Long Term Care Insurance.
